Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marine World War II Veteran, Bill Darling, shakes hands with Lance Cpl. Mark Adams with 4th Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division during their drill weekend at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, May 02, 2015. The retired Sgt. Bill Darling served with 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines Regiment during the Peleliu and Okinawa campaigns. Darling enlisted in 1943 and served until 1945.
