Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marines, others welcome WWII vets to the Big Easy
Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, (left), greets Academy Award-nominated actor Gary Sinise, upon his arrival to the Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans, June 24, 2015. Sinise traveled to the bayou state with 50 WWII veterans as part of a program organized by the Gary Sinise Foundation to honor them for their service to the country. Sinise and numerous volunteers escorted the veterans to the WWII Museum after a welcome ceremony held at the airport.
