Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Scouts for 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division navigate down steep, rocky terrain in Almería, Spain, Oct. 31, 2015, during the final exercise for Trident Juncture 2015. The scouts provide surveillance to the Marines manning the vehicles as well as provide reconnaissance on safe routes to travel and maneuver.
