ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marines educate and empower local high school and college students at Dillard University

Marines and business professionals answered students’ questions about leadership, personal development, positive role models and personal experiences in educational and professional environments. The UNCF-sponsored annual tour takes place at UNCF member campuses and provides high school students and their parents with information about college preparation, successful student strategies and financial aid.
