Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

A Blackhawk with the U.S. Army, Company B, 8th Battalion, 229th Aviation Regiment (8-229 AV), 11th Aviation Command (Theater), flies by to pick up scout sniper Marines with 2/24, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, during a fire support coordination exercise in Camp Atterbury, Ind., April 14, 2016. The Reserve Marines coordinated with the U.S. Army and Air National Guard units to provide assault support to the Marines.
