Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marine recieves Reserve Component Noncommissioned Officer of the Year
Sgt. Joshua F. Stark, a motor transport operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 25, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve, receives a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal from Lt. Gen. Rex C. McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve, for displaying exceptional leadership qualities and initiative that earned him Reserve Component Noncommissioned Officer of the Year, while attending Integrated Training Exercise 4-16 aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., June 19, 2016. During the annual training period, the Marines train to perfect their techniques, tactics and procedures to ensure they are ready to deploy worldwide.
