Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Vietnam veteran honored for his service

Baldwin, a Marine veteran who served in Vietnam, at the State Capitol building Sept. 2, 2016. The bronze “V” is a symbol of combat heroism and recognizes individuals who have been exposed to personal hazard during participation in combat operations.
