Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marine Forces Reserve implements BLAM initiative
Colonel David W. Edson, Assistant Chief of Staff G1, Marine Forces Reserve speaks to senior administrators attending the Battalion Level Administration Management initiative at the 2016 Senior Administrator Symposium aboard Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Belle Chasse, La., Oct. 12-13, 2016. Edson spoke on the importance of ensuring all MARFORRES units are administratively ready across the board. The symposium utilized instruction and practical application to help senior administrative personnel understand how and why the implementation of the Battalion Level Administrative Management initiative will improve Reserve units’ ability to pass MCAAT inspections.
