ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

2/23 Celebrates 241st Marine Corps Ball, 100 years of the Reserves

The Marine Corps Ball has been a Marine Corps tradition since 1951 and includes a sword detail, the reading of the Commandant Gen. Robert B. Neller’s birthday message and an official cake cutting for the oldest and youngest Marines present as well as the guest of honor who receives the first piece before giving a speech to those present.
