Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Hometown Heroes of Winter Break 2018
Lance Cpl. William Vasquez is a Sanford, North Carolina, native and Reserve Marine with Company F, 4th Tank Battalion, 4th Marine Division. Vasquez, a tank crew member, participated in exercise Winter Break 2018 on Camp Grayling, Michigan, Feb. 4-17, 2018. When he's not conducting Marine Corps training, Vasquez is a construction worker for Parkers Stockstill Construction in North Carolina.
