Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

End of Duty: a LCpl. Smarr Story
The Navy and Marine Corps Medal and citation are posthumously awarded to Lance Cpl. Nicholas R. Smarr, a Reserve Marine killed in the line of duty while serving as a police officer for the Americus Police Department in Americus, Ga., Dec. 7, 2018.
