Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marine Corps' support at the funeral service of Vincent Liberto Jr.
A U.S. Marine with Marine Forces Reserve folds the American flag during the funeral of Vincent Liberto Jr., in Mandeville, La., Sept. 27, 2019. Liberto was a Captain with the Mandeville Police Department and was shot and killed in the line-of-duty, Sept. 20, 2019. Liberto previously served 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve before being honorably discharged as a sergeant. Funeral support is one of the many services Marines provide in communities across the country.
