Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marines and Sailors with SPMAGTF-SC are conducting a variety of pre-deployment training events and qualifications in order to enhance crisis response preparedness in and around Latin America and the Caribbean. These events assist the Marines and Sailors with providing security cooperation training and engineering projects alongside Partner Nation military forces in Central and South America.
