Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21


The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Hook It and Book It
U.S. Marines with VMM-764, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, conduct external sling loads with a MV-22 Osprey in Kodiak, Alaska on May 12, 2021. Marines with Marine Forces Reserve are currently providing all logistical support to Arctic Care 2021, which is a joint service training mission that provides no-cost medical care to the people of Kodiak, Alaska.
