Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

UNITAS 2022
U.S. Sailors with 2nd Medical Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, in support of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force UNITAS LXIII perform a casualty evacuation with Brazilian marines at a surgical training event during exercise UNITAS LXIII in Marambaia, Brazil, Sept. 10, 2022. The training event consisted of a medical equipment presentation, a field surgery, and a CASEVAC via a Brazilian armored personnel carrier. UNITAS develops and sustains relationships that improve the capacity of our reemerging and enduring maritime partners to achieve common objectives.
