Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

An F/A-18 Hornet with the Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112, Marine Aircraft Group 41, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, uses evasive maneuvers during Marine Forces Reserve Tactical Air Control Party Fire Exercise 23-1 on Rattlesnake Range, Camp Shelby, Mississippi, Oct. 27, 2022. During this exercise, Marines were evaluated on their performances in multiple scenarios to remain ready to augment the active component with support personnel when the need for them arises.
