Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

U.S. Marines, participating in Marine Forces Reserve Tactical Air Control Party Fire Exercise 23-1, board a UH-1Y Venom helicopter assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 773, Marine Aircraft Group 49, 4th Marine Air Wing, at Rattlesnake Range, Camp Shelby, Mississippi, Oct. 27, 2022. The Venom, alongside an AH-1Z Viper helicopter from HMLA-773, provided live close air support during the exercise.
