Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

A Cobra AHT-1Z scouts targets at range 59C for day/night aerial gunnery missions with a full contingent of 40 mm rockets and 20mm gatling gun rounds. The squadron is based at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst, NJ and falls under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 49 (MAG-49).
