ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces South Celebrate the 250th Marine Corps Birthday

U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Keagan Hicks, a field artillery officer with Marine Forces Reserve, partakes in the Marine Corps Birthday Ball ceremony as part of the sword detail at Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, Nov. 1, 2025. The Marine Corps birthday ceremony honors the history, legacy and traditions passed down from generation to generation since the founding of the Corps on Nov. 10, 1775.
