Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

A detail of high school students with Central Indiana Young Marines reenact the famous Mount Suribachi flag-raising during the First Annual Iwo Jima Memorial Service at the Indiana War Memorial Museum Feb. 23. Detachment 1, Communications Company, Headquarters and Service Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group invited more than a dozen Iwo Jima Marine veterans from across Indiana to the event to honor their service on Iwo Jima.
