Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021. Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare. The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Philimon Nasry, a radio operator with Marine Wing Communication Squadron 48, his promotion warrant during a promotion ceremony at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center July 19. "He told me to keep up the good work, train my Marines to succeed and to hold onto my lance corporal chevrons to motivate a younger Marine," Nasry said.
