Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marines with Company K, 3rd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division prepare to debark a Dutch landing craft utility, March 9. The LCU carried them from Her Netherlands Majesty's Ship Rotterdam. Company K was in Norway March 4-24 for Exercise Cold Response 2012. The multinational invitational event focused on rehearsing conventional-warfare operations in winter conditions and exercising interoperability with the NATO allies.
