ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marines with Company K, 3rd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, debark a Dutch landing craft utility, March 9. The LCU carried them from Her Netherlands Majesty's Ship Rotterdam. Company K was in Norway March 4-24 for Exercise Cold Response 2012. The multinational invitational event focused on rehearsing conventional-warfare operations in winter conditions and exercising interoperability with the NATO allies.
