Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Maj. Gen. James M. Lariviere prepares to pass on the Marine Corps colors to Brig. Gen. James S. Hartsell during the 4th Marine Division change of command ceremony at the Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Sept. 8. The passing of the colors is a symbol of exchanging command responsibility and leadership. Lariviere will serve at the Pentagon after two and a half years of leading 4th MarDiv.
