Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Marines deliver Hurricane Sandy relief supplies
A Marine Corps 7-ton truck delivers disaster relief materials purchased and donated by Kirstie Alley, an actress known for her role in the TV show Cheers, to a post Hurricane distribution site in Toms River N.J., Nov. 3, 2012. Following Hurricane Sandy, Marines from 6th Motor Transport Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, utilized their 7-ton trucks to move donated relief supplies to distribution points amongst the most heavily affected areas.
