Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21

About

Marine Air Ground Task Force-25 (MAGTF-25) will execute Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, Camp Wilson, CA from 19 July – 08 August 2021 in order to complete service level assessments of core Mission Essential Tasks (METs) while operating as a MAGTF. MAGTF-25 is designated as the command element, 3/25 and 2/23 as the ground combat elements, MAG-49 as the lead aviation combat element, and CLB-25 as lead logistics combat element.

ITX 5-19 is an essential component of the MARFORRES training and readiness cycle.  It serves as the principal exercise for assessing a unit's capabilities.

“Lone Star” battalion maintains readiness during annual training
FORT POLK, La. – Assaultmen with 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, fire M72 Light Anti-tank Weapons (LAWs) during a live-fire range here, June 3. Marines took part in numerous live-fire ranges, which culminated in a platoon-sized attack as a part of the unit’s annual training. The battalion’s assaultmen were responsible for breaching mock enemy obstacles and clearing the way for follow-on forces.
