Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21

About

Marine Air Ground Task Force-25 (MAGTF-25) will execute Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, Camp Wilson, CA from 19 July – 08 August 2021 in order to complete service level assessments of core Mission Essential Tasks (METs) while operating as a MAGTF. MAGTF-25 is designated as the command element, 3/25 and 2/23 as the ground combat elements, MAG-49 as the lead aviation combat element, and CLB-25 as lead logistics combat element.

ITX 5-19 is an essential component of the MARFORRES training and readiness cycle.  It serves as the principal exercise for assessing a unit's capabilities.

During these exercises, infantry Marines are trained to effectively move in and out of AAVs during combat simulations. ITX allows Reserve Marines to train in realistic environments and conditions, which reinforces maintenance of the highest levels of proficiency and readiness in preparation for worldwide deployment and the ability to work as a Marine Air Ground Task Force.
