Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21

About

Marine Air Ground Task Force-25 (MAGTF-25) will execute Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, Camp Wilson, CA from 19 July – 08 August 2021 in order to complete service level assessments of core Mission Essential Tasks (METs) while operating as a MAGTF. MAGTF-25 is designated as the command element, 3/25 and 2/23 as the ground combat elements, MAG-49 as the lead aviation combat element, and CLB-25 as lead logistics combat element.

ITX 5-19 is an essential component of the MARFORRES training and readiness cycle.  It serves as the principal exercise for assessing a unit's capabilities.

Marines with Company A., 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, conduct a helicopter borne assault via MV-22 and CH-53 platforms during platoon attacks as part of a Mission Rehearsal Exercise aboard U.S. Army Fort A.P. This MRX was a stepping stone in a force generation plan to ensure that once 1st Bn., 25th Marines, 1st Bn., 23rd Marines, and other ready bench units complete ITX 4-18, they will be ready to rapidly respond to a national security threat with maximum capability.
