Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21

About

Marine Air Ground Task Force-25 (MAGTF-25) will execute Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, Camp Wilson, CA from 19 July – 08 August 2021 in order to complete service level assessments of core Mission Essential Tasks (METs) while operating as a MAGTF. MAGTF-25 is designated as the command element, 3/25 and 2/23 as the ground combat elements, MAG-49 as the lead aviation combat element, and CLB-25 as lead logistics combat element.

ITX 5-19 is an essential component of the MARFORRES training and readiness cycle.  It serves as the principal exercise for assessing a unit's capabilities.

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 7
Guests socialize with each other and honor Col. Walter Cunningham, United States Marine Corps retired fighter pilot and Apollo 7 lunar module pilot, during the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 7 mission at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas, Oct. 20, 2018. Apollo 7 was the only manned Apollo mission launched on a Saturn 1-B rocket and from pad 34 at Cape Kennedy. It was the first manned test of the Command and Service Module. The crew orbited the Earth 163 times and spent 10 days and 20 hours in space. It also featured the first live TV from a manned spacecraft. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
