Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21

About

Marine Air Ground Task Force-25 (MAGTF-25) will execute Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, Camp Wilson, CA from 19 July – 08 August 2021 in order to complete service level assessments of core Mission Essential Tasks (METs) while operating as a MAGTF. MAGTF-25 is designated as the command element, 3/25 and 2/23 as the ground combat elements, MAG-49 as the lead aviation combat element, and CLB-25 as lead logistics combat element.

ITX 5-19 is an essential component of the MARFORRES training and readiness cycle.  It serves as the principal exercise for assessing a unit's capabilities.

UNITAS 2022
A Brazilian Navy UH-12 Esquilo helicopter conducts a fly by during close air support drills as part of exercise UNITAS LXIII at Santa Cruz Air Force Base, Rio de Janeiro, Sept. 8, 2022. Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 773 and 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, Marine Forces Reserve, in support of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force UNITAS LXIII, cross trained with the Brazilian Marine Corps by conducting close air support drills, which consists of locating targets from the ground and relaying coordinates to assets in the sky to destroy. UNITAS trains forces to conduct joint maritime operations through the execution of anti-surface, anti-submarine, anti-air, amphibious and electronic warfare operations that enhance warfighting proficiency and increase interoperability among participating naval and marine forces.
