Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21

About

Marine Air Ground Task Force-25 (MAGTF-25) will execute Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, Camp Wilson, CA from 19 July – 08 August 2021 in order to complete service level assessments of core Mission Essential Tasks (METs) while operating as a MAGTF. MAGTF-25 is designated as the command element, 3/25 and 2/23 as the ground combat elements, MAG-49 as the lead aviation combat element, and CLB-25 as lead logistics combat element.

ITX 5-19 is an essential component of the MARFORRES training and readiness cycle.  It serves as the principal exercise for assessing a unit's capabilities.

U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Darion Wesche with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 23d Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, has his girlfriend hold his main pack on her back so she can see what it feels like before leaving for the unit deployment program at Camp Williams, Utah, Nov. 3, 2024. The activation marks the beginning of an intensive period of training for 2nd Battalion, 23d Marines as they provide a total force solution in support of the UDP by aligning Marine Forces Reserve’s commitment to Marine Corps strategic objectives.
