Northern Strike
This is the operations and exercise page for Northern Strike 21.


From 31 July to 14 August, CLB 451 (-)(REIN) provides forward DS and GS logistics to JTF-85 IOT enable joint task force projection functions and conduct tactical sustainment to maximize maneuver element ability to execute area defense, offense and stability operations in support of the reestablishment of the legitimate border of Gorgas.

Religious services at Northern Strike 21
U.S. Marines attend a religious service led by the Michigan Army National Guard during Northern Strike 21-2 at Camp Grayling, Michigan on Aug. 7, 2021. Northern Strike is an annual exercise hosted by the National Guard aboard the National All-Domain Warfighting Center at Camp Grayling, MI. Reserve Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 451 are providing direct and general support to Joint Task Force 85, increasing interoperability with sister services and integrating with the Active Component.
