From 31 July to 14 August, CLB 451 (-)(REIN) provides forward DS and GS logistics to JTF-85 IOT enable joint task force projection functions and conduct tactical sustainment to maximize maneuver element ability to execute area defense, offense and stability operations in support of the reestablishment of the legitimate border of Gorgas.

UNITAS 2022

The training event consisted of Marines patrolling, taking simulated casualties, and simulated lifesaving surgery. UNITAS, which is Latin for “unity,” was conceived in 1959 and has taken place annually since first conducted in 1960. This year marks the 63rd iteration of the world’s longest-running annual multi-national maritime exercise.
