From 31 July to 14 August, CLB 451 (-)(REIN) provides forward DS and GS logistics to JTF-85 IOT enable joint task force projection functions and conduct tactical sustainment to maximize maneuver element ability to execute area defense, offense and stability operations in support of the reestablishment of the legitimate border of Gorgas.

U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Davis Nathan, infantry rifleman with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, takes time to work out on his off time leading up to the activation for the unit deployment program at Camp Williams, Utah, Nov. 1, 2024. The activation marks the beginning of an intensive period of training for 2nd Battalion 23rd Marines as they provide a Total Force solution in support of the UDP by aligning Marine Forces Reserve’s commitment to Marine Corps strategic objectives.
