From 31 July to 14 August, CLB 451 (-)(REIN) provides forward DS and GS logistics to JTF-85 IOT enable joint task force projection functions and conduct tactical sustainment to maximize maneuver element ability to execute area defense, offense and stability operations in support of the reestablishment of the legitimate border of Gorgas.

Service Members Deliver Toys in Kotzebue

U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Niko Azucenas, hands a toy to Capt. Michael McDonald, dressed as Santa Claus, to give to a student at June Nelson Elementary School during a Toys for Tots event in Kotzebue, Alaska, Dec. 5, 2024. McDonald and Azucenas, inspector-instructor and company training chief, respectively, with Detachment Delta Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Force Headquarters Group, along with members of the Air Force and Navy, passed out toys to local school children during this year’s Toys for Tots operation. The Toys for Tots mission exemplifies the Marine Corps spirit in the Last Frontier, strengthening community ties while sharpening the Marines' readiness for Arctic operations.
