ABOUT 

The Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for at least 50,000 Afghan evacuees at suitable facilities, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible. This initiative provides Afghan personnel essential support at secure locations outside Afghanistan

Marines with Martial Arts Instructor Course 1-19 conduct a 3-mile run
U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Daultin Love, a ground support equipment instructor with the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Unit Jacksonville, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, crouches during a 3-mile run at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans on May 15, 2019. The students were required to carry ammo cans and mokuju bayonet trainers throughout the entire run and for each obstacle.
