ABOUT 

Gunslinger is a large military exercise conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and the Kansas Air National Guard’s 134th Air Control Squadron of McConnell Air Force Base. More than 1,300 Marines from 11 home training centers across the country have deployed to multiple areas throughout Kansas to participate in Gunslinger 22.

VMGR-234 ‘Rangers’ first to begin Reserve transition to KC-130J aircraft
U.S. Rep. Kay Granger stands before the newest addition to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve aviation fleet, the KC-130J, during a ceremony aboard Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base on March 18. The “Super Hercules” is the first of 12 new aircraft to be received by Marine Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 234, Marine Aircraft Group 41, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing.
