ABOUT 

Gunslinger is a large military exercise conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and the Kansas Air National Guard’s 134th Air Control Squadron of McConnell Air Force Base. More than 1,300 Marines from 11 home training centers across the country have deployed to multiple areas throughout Kansas to participate in Gunslinger 22.

Montford Point Marines visit 3rd Civil Affairs Group

Marines with 3rd Civil Affairs Group, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, pose for a picture with Montford Point Marines, Feb. 6, 2016, during a drill weekend. The Marines were able to thank the veterans for their contributions and received the opportunity to ask the Montford Point Marines questions about their service in battles ranging from World War II to Vietnam.
