ABOUT 

Gunslinger is a large military exercise conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and the Kansas Air National Guard’s 134th Air Control Squadron of McConnell Air Force Base. More than 1,300 Marines from 11 home training centers across the country have deployed to multiple areas throughout Kansas to participate in Gunslinger 22.

Soaring Valor Honor Flight
Marines from Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans and Sailors from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Belle Chasse, Louisiana, had the opportunity to meet actor Gary Sinise during their participation in a Soaring Valor Honor Flight at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, Oct. 27, 2016. Soaring Valor Honor Flight is a program provided by the Gary Sinise Foundation and gives World War II veterans the opportunity to tour The National WWII Museum and preserve each veteran’s oral history.
