ABOUT 

Gunslinger is a large military exercise conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and the Kansas Air National Guard’s 134th Air Control Squadron of McConnell Air Force Base. More than 1,300 Marines from 11 home training centers across the country have deployed to multiple areas throughout Kansas to participate in Gunslinger 22.

2/23 Celebrates 241st Marine Corps Ball, 100 years of the Reserves
2nd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, celebrated their 241st Marine Corps Ball, Nov. 12. 2016, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, Calif. The ball featured Marines dressed in authentic reproductions of Marine Corps clothing and equipment from each different time period of the Marine Corps. In addition to celebrating 241 years of the Corps existence, the unit also commemorated the Marine Forces Reserve Centennial to honor the rich heritage of the Reserves and recognize the contributions of its Marines over the past century.
