ABOUT 

Gunslinger is a large military exercise conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and the Kansas Air National Guard’s 134th Air Control Squadron of McConnell Air Force Base. More than 1,300 Marines from 11 home training centers across the country have deployed to multiple areas throughout Kansas to participate in Gunslinger 22.

ITX 4-17 TTCEG
U.S. Marines with 2nd battalion, 25 Marines, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, participate in the Tactical Training Control Exercise Group Mechanized Assault Course and Air Assault Course during Integrated Training Exercise 4-17 at the Marie Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California on June 19th, 2017. Marines with 2/25 used the TTCEG to prepare for their FINEX, the final training sequence for ITX. ITX 4-17 is a live-fire and maneuver combined arms exercise designed to train battalion and squadron-sized units in the tactics, techniques, and procedures required to provide a sustainable and ready operational reserve for employment across the full spectrum of crisis and global engagement.
