ABOUT 

Gunslinger is a large military exercise conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and the Kansas Air National Guard’s 134th Air Control Squadron of McConnell Air Force Base. More than 1,300 Marines from 11 home training centers across the country have deployed to multiple areas throughout Kansas to participate in Gunslinger 22.

Marines with 4th Air Naval Ground Liaison Company and 6th ANGLICO, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, and 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, MARFORRES, participate in classroom discussion during a 4th ANGLICO sponsored Joint Fires Observer primer course at the 4th ANGLICO headquarters, Aug. 7-11, 2017. The purpose of the week-long exercise was to give students valuable and pertinent information for when they take the actual JFO course at a later date.
