ABOUT 

Gunslinger is a large military exercise conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and the Kansas Air National Guard’s 134th Air Control Squadron of McConnell Air Force Base. More than 1,300 Marines from 11 home training centers across the country have deployed to multiple areas throughout Kansas to participate in Gunslinger 22.

6th ESB builds Camp Kamassa
Cabins currently under construction at Camp Kamassa, near Crystal Springs, Miss., April 22, 2019. Camp Kamassa is being built with the help of Marine combat engineers from Company C, 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve as part of the Innovative Readiness Training Camp Kamassa. The purpose of the Department of Defense’s IRT program is to support the community by pairing military members with civil projects that benefit the community, and enables Marine Reserve units to increase their efficiency and performance.
