ABOUT 

Gunslinger is a large military exercise conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and the Kansas Air National Guard’s 134th Air Control Squadron of McConnell Air Force Base. More than 1,300 Marines from 11 home training centers across the country have deployed to multiple areas throughout Kansas to participate in Gunslinger 22.

Lance Cpl. The CERTEX is the culmination exercise that will test the training and readiness of the Marines and Sailors of the SPMAGTF-SC for certification to deploy. Once certified, the SPMAGTF-SC will be ready to conduct crisis response, theater security cooperation training and general engineering projects alongside partner nation militaries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
