ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Lt. Gen. Steven A. Hummer, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, was recognized in the category of outstanding military flag officer at the Federal Executive Board Distinguished Service Awards luncheon at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility here, May 8.
