Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Marine earns Silver Star for Vietnam heroics

Hill before he is presented with the Silver Star Medal at the Tuscaloosa Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center here June 7, 2013.
