ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

The urban demolition range was part of the Sapper Leaders Course, the first of its kind designed to allow Reserve Marines to participate with active-duty Marines to receive advanced training in the combat engineer military occupational specialty.
