ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Sgt. Jesse Bragg, a shooter on the Marine Forces Reserve Marksmanship Training Unit, Marine Corps Reserve Rifle Team, based out of Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., plots his previous shot during the National Trophy Team Match in Camp Perry, Ohio, Aug. 1. The rifle match is part of the Civilian Marksmanship Program's National Matches, which have been taking place annually since 1903.
