ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Cake Cutting ceremony

Hardy, Commanding Officer of Headquarters Battalion, MARFORRES, cut the Marine Corps Birthday cake, during a cake cutting ceremony aboard the Marine forces Reserve Support Facility, New Orleans, La., Nov. 8. More than 500 Marines assigned to HQBN, MARFORRES participated in the annual cake cutting ceremony.
