ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Camp Atterbury, Ind. - A 81mm mortar crew with Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division fires high-explosive rounds during a fire-for-effect mission as part of their Reserve forces drill period training, March 15, 2014, at a firing range on Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Center.
